100% Carignan. From the 2017 vintage, 2,000 bottles of 75 cl and 30 Magnums embedded in wood have been produced, all of them numbered.
Coupage of 3 Carignan properties located in Vilamaniscle, all of them between 80 and 100 years old with predominant slate soils. Production less than 500 kg / ha.
Manual harvest in boxes of 20 kg and vineyard selection at the optimum time of phenolic maturation. Elaboration in stainless steel tanks of 1,500 to 2,000 liters. Selection of yeasts and controlled fermentation temperature for each variety. Pre and post-fermentation maceration.
Aged in 225L and 300L French oak barrels for a minimum of 12 months. Minimal clarification and filtration processes. Rest in bottle of 6 months.
Intense cherry color, bright, thick, glyceric and elegant. Varietal complex aroma: figs, black fruit, leather and spices. Minerality in the mouth, very well polished and wide tannins, well integrated wood, long mouth feeling with balance.
