100% White grenache from 80 years old bush trained vines from two different estates in Vilamaniscle. Very limited production of 250 – 300 numbered 37,5 cl bottles.
Grapes are kept in the vineyard until last week of September/first of October where they are over-ripened (passerillage). Then are picked in 20 kg boxes.
In the cellar grapes are pressed and then racked. Spontaneous alcoholic fermentation with wild yeasts. At 7% alcohol is added until 15,5-16,0%. No added sulfites during the whole process.
50% of the wine ages for 24 months in damajuanas in our winery terraces facing sun and weather exposure (sol&serena)and the other 50% ages in a 14 years solera with already 4 vintages in it. Final blend is composed normally of 50% from the damajuana wine and 50% from the solera.
Amber color. Nuts, Floral, Honey, Citrus, Stewed. Unctuous in the mouth with a fresh and sweet finish.
